We fix AI-built React Native and Expo apps: Built with AI.
Stuck before launch?

We fix apps from Rork, Vibecode, Cursor and other AI builders that crash, won't build, or keep coming back rejected, then ship them to the App Store and Google Play. Fixed price once scoped, in writing.

30 minutes with the engineer who'd do the work. Bring the repo link or the rejection email. You keep your Apple ID; we never ask for a password.

01 · the preview

It worked in the preview.

The builder showed you a finished app. A real iPhone, real users and App Review each found something else.

sound familiar?

  1. Works in Expo Go. Crashes in TestFlight.
  2. The paywall is empty, or buying unlocks nothing.
  3. Rejected again. The email doesn't say why.
  4. Sign in with Google loops back to the login screen.
  5. The EAS build fails. Over and over.
  6. Someone is running up your OpenAI bill.
  7. Play Console wants 12 testers for 14 days.
  8. The AI fixes one thing and breaks two more.
Alert.alert("Restored!")

The button never calls StoreKit.

02 · the diagnosis

Here's what's actually broken.

The seven that show up most in AI-built apps. Only some of them are App Review's fault.

4 of 7 fixed

  1. payments · 3.1.1Fixed

    The paywall unlocks nothing

Products were never attached to the build, and restore never called StoreKit.

  2. privacy · 5.1.1Fixed

    No account deletion, vague permissions

In-app deletion that clears the backend, and a real reason for each permission.

  3. auth · 4.8Fixed

Google sign-in loops back to login

The redirect scheme wasn't allow-listed. Sign in with Apple added too.

  4. privacy · 5.1.2(i)Fixed

AI feature sends data without asking

A consent screen that names the provider before the first request.

  5. securityFixing

OpenAI key sitting in the bundle

Anything in EXPO_PUBLIC_ ships to every phone. It moves behind a server.

↳ 282 of 444 AI chatbot apps on the App Store exposed paid LLM access · Wake Forest, 2026

  6. backendOpen

    Supabase tables open to anyone

RLS was off. Policies per table, service key out of the client.

↳ 98% of Supabase backends from AI web builders had a security flaw · Symbiotic Security, 2026

  7. stability · 2.1Open

Fine in Expo Go, crashes in TestFlight

Env vars never reached EAS. Release build tested on a real device.

06 · the audit

Start with the audit. Keep the report either way.

Within 48 hours of repo access you get every problem we found, why it happens, the order to fix it in, and a fixed quote.

  • Targeted Fix

One named problem fixed and shipped: a crash, a dead paywall, a sign-in loop, a failing build, or a rejection plus one resubmission. Price follows how many flows are broken, not hours.

    from $1,200

  • Ship-to-Store Sprint

    About 10 days

Everything between “works in the preview” and live in both stores: purchases and RevenueCat, keys and backend locked down, production builds, Play closed testing, and submission.

  • Keep-Alive

    Monthly, after launch

Expo SDK upgrades, hotfixes, dependency and security patches, and store policy changes after launch.

    from $400/mo

Prices are starting points, not fixed rates. Every app is different — final pricing is set in your proposal after a call.

08 · access

Your accounts stay yours.

  • We never ask for your Apple ID password or a two-factor code.
  • App Store Connect and Play Console by role invite. EAS by scoped token. Supabase by project role.
  • Secrets never travel through chat or email.
  • At handoff we revoke our access and give you an inventory of every account, key and signing certificate.
  • All work lives in your repo. The code is yours. NDA on request.

What we won't do.

  • Rebuild your app in a new framework, unless the audit shows fixing costs more.
  • Add features in the middle of a fix. New scope gets quoted before we touch it.
  • Promise App Store approval. Apple decides; we answer every reason they cite.
  • Pretend we have case studies. We're new, so every audit is done by the engineer who does the fix.

09 · questions

Before you book.

What problems in AI-built apps does Designated Dev fix?

Designated Dev fixes React Native and Expo apps built with AI tools like Rork, Vibecode, a0.dev, Cursor and Claude Code when they crash, won't build on EAS, have a paywall that unlocks nothing, loop on sign-in, ship API keys in the bundle, leave the database open, or keep getting rejected by the App Store or Google Play. If it worked in the builder and not in the real world, it counts.

Can you fix an AI-generated React Native app without rebuilding it?

Yes. Most AI-built React Native and Expo apps don't need a rewrite. Designated Dev reproduces each problem on a real device, finds the underlying cause and repairs the broken flows in the code you already have. We recommend a rebuild only when the audit shows fixing would cost more than replacing, and the report says which.

How much does it cost to fix an AI-built app?

Designated Dev's Launch Readiness Audit starts at $399 and is credited in full to any fix within 30 days. A Targeted Fix for one named problem starts at $1,200, a Ship-to-Store Sprint at $2,500, and Keep-Alive maintenance at $400 a month. Final prices are set in a written proposal after a call.

Can I keep using Rork or Cursor after you fix my app?

Yes. Designated Dev works in your existing repo and leaves notes on what changed and why, so you can keep prompting Rork, Cursor or any other AI builder afterwards without the next prompt quietly undoing the fix.

Do you need my Apple ID password to submit my app?

No. Designated Dev never asks for an Apple ID password or a two-factor code. You invite us to App Store Connect and Play Console with a role, EAS with a scoped token and Supabase with a project role, and we revoke that access when the work is done.

Can you guarantee my app will be approved by Apple?

No. Apple decides every App Review outcome, so no one can honestly guarantee approval. Designated Dev resolves every reason Apple cites, includes one resubmission cycle, and checks the rest of the app so the next review has less to find.

Do you publish apps to Google Play as well as the App Store?

Yes. Designated Dev handles Google Play too: the 12-tester, 14-day closed test required for new personal developer accounts, the target API level, the Data safety form, and the submission itself.

Do you fix bare React Native apps, or only Expo?

Both. Designated Dev works on Expo and bare React Native apps. If your app is built on another stack, send the details and we'll tell you on the call whether we're the right fit.
